Mama i ja is low in sodium, sulphates, fluorides, nitrates and nitrites, while its physiochemical and microbiological composition is regularly tested. One litre of water contains 271 mg of minerals.
The water intake is located on the edge of the Słowiński National Park at a depth of 170 m. Each stage in its production is overseen by experienced experts, from its extraction deep in the ground to bottle capping.

The manufacturing site in Damnica near Słupsk has a certified Food Safety Management System according to the International Food Standard (IFS). This is a combination of the Good Manufacturing Practice, the HACCP system, the Good Hygienic Practice, international GFSI requirements, full evaluation of suppliers and Food Defence rules.
As a result, the manufacturing chain is supervised in a comprehensive and effective way, and documented in detail at every stage. This eliminates any potential hazards connected with the safety and purity of Mama i ja.
The excellent quality of the water is confirmed by thorough testing by the WOSANA SA Quality Department. Regular sensory and microbiology tests are also conducted by specialists from independent facilities and laboratories:
