Mama i ja certified by the “Pomnik – Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka” Institute
The Mama i ja spring water has been re-approved by the “Pomnik – Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka” Institute. This means that the product continues to meet the highest quality requirements and is completely safe for newborns, infants, young children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
Babies and their mothers have special needs – which is why it is so important to provide top-quality water. WOSANA SA conducts tests in specialised laboratories and thoroughly controls every stage of the manufacturing process.
The purity and the physicochemical composition of the Mama i ja spring water is carefully tested by the internal Quality Department, which conducts advanced microbiological and sensory analyses. Regular inspections are also conducted by independent laboratories, such as the Polish National Institute of Hygiene (Państwowy Zakład Higieny), Hamilton Poland Ltd. and the Central Mining Institute (Główny Instytut Górnictwa). The comprehensive evaluation by the inspecting and approving institutions guarantees that every manufacturing batch complies with the standards.
Creating products that are completely safe for babies is a tremendous responsibility. WOSANA SA has a certified Food Safety Management System in place to implement the requirements of the International Food Standard. It combines the requirements of systems which are highly important for food safety: HACCP, the Good Manufacturing Practice, the Good Hygienic Practice, international GFSI requirements, full evaluation of suppliers and Food Defence rules. This makes it possible to effectively oversee and document the whole manufacturing chain, and in the case of any hazards – eliminate them at an early stage.
Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka is a modern children’s hospital with recognised expertise, certifying in terms of safety those products intended for children and infants. Water “Mama i ja” has received a positive opinion of the „The Children’s Memorial Health Institute” no. 28/DJW/2020.
